COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Stony Brook Red: This unique brew defies traditional beer style definition. The rich, malty brew combines notes of tart fruit from the yeast with a toasty oak character from the barrel aging. The long dry finish is almost wine-like. This is a beer that is satisfying on its own and also pairs well with many foods such as braised or roasted meats, beef stews and strong salty cheeses.

ChrisO ’Night Of The Gaylords’ tasting. Clear brown beer. Sourish beer. Very much like a watered down Duchess Du Bourgogne. Pleasantly malty sour.

Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Thanks to Chris for bringing this back from Boston. Red amber colour, thin beige head. Some sour on aroma, really good Flemish sour. Could do with a bit more sourness on the end. Great aroma. Good fruit in mouth, some cherry/red fruits. Some sour on end, great fruit. Typical Flemish ale. Loved it.
