COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

Dark black pour, smells like badly burnt toast. Too carbonated. Expected a lot, got nothing. Would not buy.

0.355 bottle. Pitch black color, no head at all. Rich aroma of roasted malts, loads of coffee, caramel and dark chocolate. Taste is average, too sour for a Schwarzbier, some typical malty bitter-sweetness is present but not dominant. Body is medium, texture smooth and creamy to an extent, carbonation soft. Finish is medium in length, closely follows the taste and is rather smooth. Overall it is a simple yet pleasant brew, nothing superb.

Flaska från SB. Nästan svart men tyvär helt utan skum. (Fel på min flaska ???). Mjuk knappast ngn kolsyara men ändå en lite rökig spännande smak som sitter i en stund.

A quality schwartzbeir. The nose is coffee and roast malt. Deep black with brown highlights with a large tan head. Bitter in balance between roast and hops. Dry and crisp with a bitter finish.

Tastes exactly like a big pretzel like you get off a cart, but without the salt. I like pretzels, so I liked this beer.

Bottle. Deep mahogany, tan head, clear. A clean roasted carmel malty aroma. Malty rich carmel and malt flavor. Not harsh and very lightly hopped. A nice effort. but not my style

Pours a dark black with a moderate, tan head. It has an aroma of roasted malts. The taste is of semi-dry caramel malts with a little hop bitterness. It also has a slightly vegetal aftertaste, somewhat like roasted pumpkin in the winter. Not bad at all...

A: Dark brown with ruby highlights. The glass is filled with bubbles, initially creating an appearance similar to a highly carbonated cola. The bubbles and head recede after a few moments, leaving a fair amount of lacing on the glass. S: The aroma is considerably weaker than the taste. Sweet malts at first, with a subtle hint of roast. T: This beer is a pleasant surprise, and certainly more enjoyable than I had hoped for or expected. There are nice flavors of cocoa, black coffee, chocolate, and roasted malt. The beer finishes with a nice hop bitterness, which helps to round out the overall flavor presentation. Well done. M: Medium bodied and thicker feeling than I expected from a >5% beer. D: A good representation of the style. I would drink it again.

Pretty good little lager. Dark, no head pour. Nice nutty punch, doesn't last long. Smooth.
