COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional lager is medium in body with a deep roasted character. Its dark color and rich malty flavor come from specially roasted caramel and chocolate malts. This brew is lightly hopped with Noble Bavarian hops for a soft spiciness and a smooth clean finish. Cheers!

Pours a dark black with a moderate, tan head. It has an aroma of roasted malts. The taste is of semi-dry caramel malts with a little hop bitterness. It also has a slightly vegetal aftertaste, somewhat like roasted pumpkin in the winter. Not bad at all...

Brun farge, med medium skum. Aromaen er malt, humle og noe sjokolade. Smaken er humle, sjokolade og noe malt. Medium konsistens. Fin mild bitterhet i ettersmaken, litt tørr på tunga.

Reviewed from notes. The appearance had a black body, slightly beige highlights the edges of the white foamy head that quickly fades. The smell had a slight coffee, subdued chocolate and cola. The taste was mildly sweet. The palate sat about a medium, slightly sessionable, smooth aftertaste and finish. Overall, good for the style and good for me.

Kolsvart med stort ljusbrunt skum! Doftar karamell malt och lite humle. Lite bränd smak men helt ok!

Looks like a stout...doesn’t taste like it. Pours black with a thick tan head. All roasted malt on the nose. Has a funky aftertaste that lingers a long while. That aftertaste is like wort...brutal.

Black coloured beer with a light tan fast fading head. Noses of roasted malts, burnt toffee, coffee and bitter chocolate with some spicyness to it. Rather watery texture with a light bitter taste of burnt toffee/roasted malts. Develops light salty traces with a notch of sweetness. Not too complex but nicely drinkable. The finish is lasting for a short while.

Bottle. Clear brown with a nice frothy beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, chocolate and molasses. Sweetish with solid roasty backbone, caramel, coffee, dried fruits, light smokey notes, slightly dry finish, quite smooth. Nice Schwarzbier.
