beer has a dark brown look with a tan fluffy head has a little of coffee and caramel flavor very balanced beer i will keep on drinking this one

Aug 29, 2008 Dark brown with a slightly red tint. Large tan head. Light aroma of a pale lager. Roasted flavor with slight coffee taste. Light body. Smooth but nothing set it apart.

Aug 28, 2008 Dark brown beer with a tan head. Aroma is caramel and roast. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, and hoppy bitterness. Finish is faint malt and fading bitterness. Very nice beer.

Aug 28, 2008 Bottle 08’. Pour is dark and the head was thin and fast fading. Sweet chocolate and coffee flavour development. Light bodied like a lager and roasty like a porter. Nice brew.

Aug 27, 2008 Not a fan of Sam Adams, and just because it is dark does not mean it is good. Sweet and roasty chocolate malt taste. Lightly sweet watery finish. No bitterness anywhere. Pretty smooth, but way to thin and light bodied for a beer like this.
