A fresh take on a fruit beer. This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction,we brewed with Tettnang Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note. A delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

Yuk. Take a BMC, squeeze in a few blue berries and call it a beer. From the initial aroma of artificial blueberry to the syrupy aftertaste, this beer is just wrong.

Pours a hazy gold color with a big (really) white head that slowly recedes. Haziness gives it an unfiltered look. Nose is blueberry and malt (surprise!). The taste is of a light beer with blueberries. It's ok - can't say I will go out of my way to have this again, but I have had much worse. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

There is a blueberry smell to it and a very sick taste of something like bluekberry artificial flavoring. The aftertaste is even like a cheap candy with blueberry flavoring. Why does Boston Beer Co. keep trying to do fruit beers, all of them are awful. This didnít even look like it ever had blueberries involved with that light golden color. Nasty, not going to ever buy this one again. Putting it down the sink with that cherry one they did a few years back.

Part of the Sam Adams summer sampler. Pours a cloudy amber, with a nice long lasting white head. Aroma of sweet blueberries, with a hint of malt. Taste is similar, and very well balanced. Iím not a big fruit beer fan, but I find this to be well done.

12 oz. bottle - Pours a hazy amber color with a 3/4 finger thick white head. Light lacing. Aroma is blueberries and light herbal hops. The berries are more noticeable in the flavor. Some finish. Medium body. A nice beer.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a medium golden amber with a large (2-3 finger) white pillowy head that receded slowly, lasting throughout and had excellent spotty lacing. The aroma was very big on blueberry with a sweet biscuit malt, light citrus hops and a mildly sweet yeast with a hint of candi sugar. The taste was lightly malty sweet with a decent blueberry presence that lasted throughout with the finish having a touch of citrus and a mild bitterness at the end. The flavor lasted a very short time after the swallow with the taste of blueberry out lasting all other flavors. Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery texture and a prickly carbonation. Overall this brew is OK, but nothing really special. Although, I think it would be fine on a hot summerís day with some grilled Shish-Kabobs... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

12 oz. bottle served in a shaker- poured a slightly murky and turbid yellow with a hint of orange, solid one finger plus frothy off white head formed and just refused to subside, aroma of that fake ass blueberry sryup they sold in the 80ís instead of just fake ass maple syrup, with a note of orange and hay. Hits the mouth with a light body, blueberries wash out any detection of malt sensations, middle has a faint grass note that fades away as it finishes. Itís ok- just donít expect me to purchase it again.

Bottle. Hazy yellow. Blueberry, hay and a little funk. Tastes like a blueberry muffin mixed with cereal.

I happen to like fruit beers and although there is a roughness tothe mouthfeel, the blueberry sensibility isnít too crass. Not a bad beer for what I am doing--setting up camp on a summer weekend. Thanks to Dean for the bottle.
