COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh take on a fruit beer. This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction,we brewed with Tettnang Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note. A delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

Bottle. Sweet blueberry aroma. Lively carbonation. Very prominent blueberry flavor with a touch of sweetness. Slightly acidic finish, but pleasingly astringent. I like it a lot more than I expected to. My favorite of the SA fruit beers. (So far.) Would definitely drink again.

Bottle into a Lager glass. Pour is a cloud orange with a fine head. Aroma is of blueberries and malt. Taste is a nice warm blueberrie hop. Finish is a warm blueberrie

Blueberry Hill pours a cloudy sunset yellow orange with a white creamy head that lasts forever and leaves good lacing. The aroma is blueberry and citrus. The flavor is somewhat citrus, but the blueberries dominate here. Overall this is fairly enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A nice clear golden color with a white head that faded away fast leaving a very little coating. Aroma was a mix of blueberries and some nice doughy malts. Flavor was nice and balanced with malts and sweet blueberries. Definitely a two-dimensional offering but it was still nice.

Not the best beer in the world, but pretty good for a Fruit Beer. Also, bonus points for the Fats Domino reference!

Poured from 12oz bottle from the Summer mix pack, pours a hazy light gold with a decent white head and a little bit of lacing, the aroma has a light amount of blueberry with some sweetness, not overpowering and fake by any means, actually pretty nice, the flavor has a nice crisp front end with a good amount of the fruit coming through in the finish, nice mouthfeel, not bad.

Deep golden, slightly hazy, average white head. Flowery blueberry aroma and flavour, biscuity malts, dry finish with low bitterness. Nice enough patio beer.

12 fl oz / 355mL bottle into a Samuel Adams glass. Served cold. Aroma: Blueberries! Ha it reminds me of Boo-berry cereal Appearance: Kind of hazy, translucent light orange/dark yellow. Nice head retention. Taste: Kind of a medicine-y blueberry. Less boo-berry cereal and more robitussin. At least at first. It tapers off to a nice sweet blueberry flavor. Maybe I’m just misinterpreting the hop profile in this, but it’s not that pleasant. Sad. I liked Blue Paw more. Palate: Pretty light, but definite presence. Overall: Kind of let down with this one. Maybe it just tries to be too much. A hoppy, bitter fruit beer? Not something I enjoyed. Blue Paw was better. I’m sad. I liked this beer’s aroma, and I thought it would be different. Decent brew though.

4 oz. from bottle at a Sam Adams dinner/beer pairing benefit at Old Line Wine’s The Bistro in Beltsville, MD. Very hazy, gold/straw color with an off-white head and very good lacing. Aroma of blueberries, honey, wheat and waffles. Taste of blueberries, honey, wheat, mild herbal hops and waffles. Medium/light body and medium carbonation. One of the better blueberry beers I have tasted. It paired well with peppery spicy hot food. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sometimes I think my scores for fruit beers are a little high and maybe not really indicative of my level of enjoyment. The reason being is that it is apparently fairly easy to make a fruit beer smell nice and not as easy to make it taste good. Here is a good case in point - smells like fresh blueberries with a whiff of citrus. Flavor is closer to Blueberry breakfast cereal, though. Kinda artificial.
