3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours unclear medium orange w thin head. Smell is light grain, blueberries and other sweet berries. Taste is big sweet berries and I dig it as is not coming off artificial at all. Smooth crisp grain lager base. Thought that I wouldn’t like this but it certainly surprised me.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is blueberry but not much else. Flavor is again just a minor blueberry and not much else. I actually get more of the blueberry after the swallow then during. This was a pretty weak effort. A small amount of blueberry with a tasteless beer base.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Poured from the summer pack to a red solo cup due too kitchen remodeling. I thought blueberry was a place, didn’t expect it was a fruit beer, bleh. Aroma of artificial blueberry. Flavor is similar, also similar to the sea dog beer. Finishes sweet and artificial.

2.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
UPDATED: MAY 26, 2014 You can really taste the blueberry in this. The beer is overpowering with blueberry flavor. The description says there are citrus notes but I didn’t taste any. Rivertown Blueberry is a better style to try this.

Poured a honey straw hazy color with two fingers of bubbly off-white head. Some sporadic lacing and fog on the sides. OK retention with some thicker spots on the way down.
Smelled a very potent whiff of blueberry and grape. Some artificial sugar smell as well, but that’s about it. Best part of the beer though.
Taste wasn’t as strong as the smell. Like the nose, it was almost strictly blueberry. Also some grape juice. Faint hops, although I couldn’t figure out which type. Not as good as I’d hoped.
Light body. Thin texture. Average carbonation. Long, fruity finish.
Not as a good as I’d hoped and I’m a sucker for fruity beers. Good for the summer, but I wouldn’t have it again.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a hazy golden straw with a pure white lacing. Aroma consists of blueberry, cereal and is somewhat floral. Some bitterness in the flavor. Crisp lager palate. A blueberry beer that reportedly tastes different than other blueberry beer, but tastes exactly like every blueberry beer.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Really special taste and really good it was too. Decent with fragrance in it. The taste is really good. The aftertaste is left for a while. Very much the flavor of blueberries, which I love. Why would not this beer get better grades?

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle, courtesy of Boston Beer. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy, deep golden color; fine-bubbled off-white head with reasonable retention and nice lacing. Fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup in the aroma (definitely fruit-ish forward), followed by a modest display of spicy/mineral hops and a lean and toasty core. Mouthfeel is generally on-point (medium-light body, medium-high carbonation), though there’s a cloying element from the blueberry syrupiness; a welcome dose of spicy and herbal hop character in here, but the fruitiness is a bit much and, again, has a this-should-be-atop-pancakes quality; that zesty core bitterness and dry, nicely toasty and cereal-like finish help out a bit.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle. Pours light copper with a medium, white head. Aroma of blueberries and bread. Starts nicely with a natural blueberry and bready flavor. The middle to end of the beer is completely horrible. Flavors of garbage, rotten grains and cardboard.
