COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A fresh take on a fruit beer. This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction,we brewed with Tettnang Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note. A delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

What I was hoping for is a nice blueberry beer. Instead, the blueberries seem almost frozen so to speak, maybe artificial. IMO, the beer should beer slightly higher abv and use different hops (how about citra or centennial).

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting Sep 14 2013 - Pours hazy yellow with some lacing. The aroma makes me think of purple kool-aid. I guess itís blueberries but they seem a bit odd. The flavor is sweet with some bluberry. Itís light bodied. The finish is still sweet. The beer is okay, I guess. Itís better than the Porch Rocker, which is setting the bar low.

Great addition to the 2013 summer pack. Blueberry was present but not overpowering. Crisp and refreshing, went well with the Porch Rocker--also in the pack.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear gold copper color with a vigorous white head that settles to a film after a minute or so. Aroma of blueberry, wheat and some sourness. Medium-light bodied, sour blueberry notes on the side of the tongue. More of the blueberry and some wheat in the finish. Wouldnít be able to drink more than one or two at time. Would probably be good in summer.

Pours hazy golden with a white head. The aroma has blueberries, minerals, cream and plastic. It has a medium / thin body with fairly gentle carbonation. The taste has lots of blueberries, cream and mild light malt. The finish adds pepper and phenolic spice. Okay fruit beer.

Wow. This is basically a blueberry muffin in liquid form. Maybe with a touch of grape jam. Not mind blowing but definitely interesting. Easy drinker. I could easily see myself drinking a bunch of these on a hot day at the beach.

From notes: Poured hazy golden-amber, with a 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of blueberry, with touches of grass and yeast. Body is light, and just a touch oily. Light flavor- blueberry, with grassy and light black pepper notes in the finish.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color lager with a medium size foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma consists of fake blueberry syrup with overly sweet malt base. Taste is also dominated by this fake blueberry syrup with overly sweet aftertaste. Body is light with good carbonation. This one is a bit disappointing coming from Sam Adams.

12 oz. bottle. Pour is a slightly hazy golden. White creamy head and decent lacing. Smell is sugar, blueberry and some grain and wheat. Taste is very sweet. Blueberry but also a citrus bite. I like the creamy smooth mouth feel that is missing in many blueberry ales. Not great but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were and left behind a transparent light orange colored body and a fair lacing. The strange aroma was cardboard and fruity. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a mellow aftertaste. The horrible flavor contained notes of mild hops blueberry and malt. Not one that I would buy again.
