A fresh take on a fruit beer. This crisp, unfiltered lager is aged on blueberries for a pleasant blueberry aroma and taste. To take this fruity character in a new direction,we brewed with Tettnang Noble hops for an added subtle citrus note. A delicious blend of flavors with a smooth lager finish.

Lager. Immediately hit with aroma of blueberry. Flavor is blueberry, blueberry muffin and a bit of bitter from the hops. Pretty good.

Rated on 9-14-2013 at Fort Wayne, IN RateBeer gathering) (Bottle) This beer’s appearance is a small white head that is mostly lasting, hazy straw body, very little carbonation, and spotty amounts of lacing. This beer’s aroma is sweet, tart, and artificial raspberries. The flavor is sweet, blueberries, tart, and sour. The mouthfeel is smooth. This beer is light bodied. Too much blueberry flavor for my liking.

Delicate blueberry flavor. Somewhat sweet. No hops. No malt. Just a simple, sweet, dessert beer.

Not a half bad adaptation of a fruit beer. Nice smooth lager, but not over the top. Solid blueberry taste, but not overpowering. light smooth finish.

12oz bottle - Aroma - sweet blueberries and light hand soap Appearance - golden body, 2-finger tan head, no lacing, poor head retention Mouthfeel - light carbonation, light-medium bodied Flavor - blueberries, just a smidge of citrus, and very light tartness Overall - the blueberries do not bonk you on the head with the flavor, rather it seemed almost restrained a little. Perhaps a little more sweetness would bring it out more. Decent.

Grabbed a bottle of my brother inlaws beer. Pours gold with nose is blueberry candy. Tastes of blueberries, malt, some lemon, and perfume. Crisp and not too sweet.

As fruit beers go this one is a keeper. Gentle taste of real blueberries and a little bit of lemony tartness while retaining the character of an actual lager. Quite refreshing.

Sugary blueberry pie scent. Smooth lager, some dry bitterness and mild blueberry. More sugar note than fruit.

I like a fruit beer to taste like a fruit beer. And well this really has a fruity flavor. Aroma is almost artificial like. Taste is very berry. Beer is subtle. Decent mouthfeel. Sweetness is strong. Very nice.

Orange gold color with thin off-white head. Strong blueberry aroma. A little citrus in the flavor, but very much overpowered by the blueberries. Enough hops that you remember your drinking a beer.

Transfer from BA review on 6-15-13- Poured from bottle (dated best by Oct. 2013) into a pint glass Appearance- The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-amber color with a one finger thick white colored head. The head fades over a moderate level of time, leaving a good level of lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is massive of blueberries with it hitting the nose immediately after opening the bottle and being even more potent after pouring. This huge blueberry aroma is quite authentic smelling with a delicious fresh blueberry smell. Mixed with this aroma is a very light aroma of lemon and an almost pastry like smell overall producing a very tasty smelling brew. Taste – The taste starts out with a big bready and light blueberry flavor upfront. Some other sweetness of a candied sugar taste joins the flavors upfront with a lemon flavor developing more as the flavor advances beyond the initial taste. While the lemon comes to the tongue, the blueberry flavors increase in intensity. In the end the blueberry gets somewhat potent, but dries out some and is joined by a slightly stale biscuit flavor leaving a blueberry and bready flavor to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the average side in terms of its thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. A bit less body and more carbonation may have been better for all the blueberry flavor as it would have produced a more crisp and refreshing brew. Overall – The look and aroma of the beer were quite awesome, but unfortunately the taste and flavor didn’t live up to the former. Even so it is still a decent blueberry lager and at least is one to try.
