2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not a good example of the style. Caramel malt is a little overpowering. Not too hoppy. The fact that they ferment at lager temps adds a lot to the flavor.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a bronze color. Surprisingly thick almost beige head. Nice lacing. Good retention. Nice carbonation.
Aroma is hoppy, but its also malty. For me its a little more hoppy. There is a distinct breadiness in it. Maybe a slightest smidge of melon.
Taste is really nice. Its rich. Its bitter. Its smooth. Again its got some hoppiness to it.
Mouthfeel again, is smooth. Its almost silky. Its a little bitter but finishes clean. Clean and a little sweet. Its a medium body. Its super drinkable.
Overall this is a terrific beer. I prefer this over Boston Lager. I could see myself cheering for the Red Sox with one of these in hand. It’s that good!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A foamy off-white head with some sticking power crowns this beer, sitting atop a pale brown the color of pine wood with tons of bubbles. A classic Sam lager aroma, but with some sweetness. Honey, caramel, sourdough. Crisp, bready, with flavors of bubble gum. Maltier and sweeter than a regular Boston Lager. Carbonation is a little extreme. Smooth yet light.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
A real American ale without doubt. I rarely experience so nice and stable foam as this ale. The aroma is full of peach and lemon. The taste is surprisingly easy. The palate containis soft shades of citrus and peach. Then appears a slightly sweet caramelized feeling from the malt, and finally a soft but determined and sustained hop bitterness taste typical American (amarillo?). It is without doubt one of the most tasty ales I have long tasted in this type.

A very sweet & clear beer with low carbonation, a thin, slightly off white head and faint floral & fruit aromas. Medium mouth feel with a lingering bitterness & caramel background. Finishes with a sweet and bitter bite.

Copenhagen 9/5 2015. 35,5 cl bottle from Kvickly. Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with yellowish head. Quite persistent. I find the aroma a little sharp. Some sweetness as well with some caramel. Carbonation is soft. Flavour is malty sweet with notes of caramel and butterscotch. Only a light bitterness. Not what I expected from a beer from Samuel Adams but not bad at all.
