2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
English style pale my arse! As a Bass lover, my expectations may be higher of this style, but I thought that this beer had a below average flavor and a horrible after-taste. It looked pretty in the glass, though.

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Brown/amber color with a light off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, light hops. Flavor is quite malty with slight hints of caramel and hops. Fruit and malt and a great amount of bitterness at the end. I slightly prefer Boston Lager as I feel it is better balanced, but then again, both are fine and it’s mostly opinion.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a bronze color. Surprisingly thick almost beige head. Nice lacing. Good retention. Nice carbonation.
Aroma is hoppy, but its also malty. For me its a little more hoppy. There is a distinct breadiness in it. Maybe a slightest smidge of melon.
Taste is really nice. Its rich. Its bitter. Its smooth. Again its got some hoppiness to it.
Mouthfeel again, is smooth. Its almost silky. Its a little bitter but finishes clean. Clean and a little sweet. Its a medium body. Its super drinkable.
Overall this is a terrific beer. I prefer this over Boston Lager. I could see myself cheering for the Red Sox with one of these in hand. It’s that good!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A foamy off-white head with some sticking power crowns this beer, sitting atop a pale brown the color of pine wood with tons of bubbles. A classic Sam lager aroma, but with some sweetness. Honey, caramel, sourdough. Crisp, bready, with flavors of bubble gum. Maltier and sweeter than a regular Boston Lager. Carbonation is a little extreme. Smooth yet light.
