Pours a nice copper color with a off-white head. Nice bready malt aroma. Nice caramel malt flavor with a hint of hoppy spice. Slight bitter finish. Not bad. Thanks Brewblackhole!

Jul 25, 2008 On tap. Pours a cloudy caramel color with a foamy head. Lifeless aroma with a minimal hint of malt. Taste is weak, with a bitter start and a watery finish.

Jul 22, 2008 Tap at Uno Chicago Grill. Dark red color nice beige head. Aroma is malty and sugar, flavor is quite watered and sweety. Mouthfeel is a quite Bitter.

Jul 17, 2008 Don’t pick up much in the aroma other than malt. Appearance is beat\iful caramel and very clear. Initial maltiness comes through but I expected more hops with all the advertising. I ffeel the lager counterpart has more hop aroma. Overall a pretty good beer fro what it is.

Jul 16, 2008 A fair beer. I agree that it is boring. Nice little head, dark golden color. Better than alot of others. Its solid, but I wouldnt drink more than one in a sitting.

Jul 15, 2008 Golden amber color with a thick white head. It had a caramel and malty aroma. The taste was kind of malt, caramel, and banana flavor. I haven’t had a Sam Adams yet that I didn’t like.
