Got this baby at a bar outside of the garden. Can’t go wrong with a Sam’s in Boston!!

Middelmatig bier op alle vlakken. Mooie amberkleur, maar het glas laat al meteen zien dat je te maken hebt met een weinig complexe doordrinker. Weinig neus, geen duidelijk aroma. Waterig, lichtzoet, licht bitter.
3.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 HopHater (14) - Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA - APR 22, 2013
On Draft at Embassy Suites Boston Airport. Dark Amber color. Aroma is metallic and mouthfeel is rather thin. Very little lacing. It does have a decent flavor.

Overall: A good, modesy red. Better than the Irish. Note: On-tap at Cheers, Boston. Reviewed 2013-03-30.

On tap. Pours a amber red with a tan head and lacing. It has a sweet aroma of caramel malt, with the same flavor profile and a not-too-sweet finish.

Brick Red to me tasted quite a decent bit like Boston Lager, with slightly less bitterness.
Brick Red has what you’d expect -- a red color. I honestly can’t quite remember the smell exactly, but I do remember that at the time, I had no complaints about Brick Red. The taste of this beer is the best part... like I said, somewhat similar to Boston Lager, but more palatable for me with almost no bitterness to speak of.
This and 26.2 (Both Boston exclusives, unfortunately...) are both two of the best Samuel Adams varieties. I can understand and appreciate why they’re only available in Boston, but I still wish they’d bottle it and ship it!

A deeper more tasty version of Samuel Adams Irish Red. Mild head with rich spice aroma and felt heavily carbonated. Dark ruby red color. Had a mildly sweet and dry finish. Would have again no problem.

Nice ruby read appearance. Draft pour in a dimple mug at Cheers Boston. Decent head, some lacing. Goes down smooth and has a little aftertaste. Nice session beer while in Boston for a few days! Not much nose.

Pours clear red amber with white lacing. Kind of a musky, grain aroma. Palate is thin, with a very light fruitcake flavor. Marginal at best.

Pint at the Cheers bar at Boston. Average and drinkable. Red in color. A little bitter and lager-like. No foam. Sweet notes in the aroma and flavor. Medium bodied and refreshing.
