3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: FEB 15, 2004 Somewhat floral aroma, some hop flavor, mostly malty. Decent beer you can get most places. RERATE: This beer is much better fresh at the brewery, very crisp with a malt (almost honey) sweetness, I really couldn't drink enough of this fresh. It's really a shame that it just isn't that great in bottles or typically on tap.

Poured a medium white creamy head and it had good lacing to it. Some carbonation was noted rising to the top. It had a somewhat fruity aroma to it. It was bitter tasting and had an aftertaste that lingered.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: JUN 4, 2003 This brew pours a medium head of fine to medium sized white bubbles and a transparent amber colored body. The head lasted a long time. Its aroma was that of mild malts and hops. It had a bitter initial taste then finished more smoothly. It had a typical hop flavor.

A great "fall back beer" when the bar you're in dosen't have any other interesting beers, they probably have this. Nice floral hop aroma, decent bitterness and body. A pleasant drink when fresh.

Sam Adams is a great alternative to "lawnmower" beer, since it's available anywhere, though it has flavor.

copper color; nice head; malty hoppy smell and taste with dry finish; what a great friend and standby usually avaiable even in the most hick places (not that there is anything wrong with hicks)

This beer is much better than most any other macroswill out there. Nice copper color to it, with a nice, tight white head.
Fresher than anything around here, that's for sure. Tastes good, actually, with plenty of malts up front, with a hops backbone to
it, and finishes nice & dry. Not too bitter or metallic like a lot of lagers out there. I like it, you will too.
