4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is an *excellent* lager! Don’t let the ’beer snobs’ who only drink certain beers try to tell you otherwise. Is it perfect? No, of course not, but it is still quite excellent and I’m very, very impressed by this beer.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not as bad as I thought this macro would be. On tap, it has a fair head and a caramel, orange color in the glass. Aromas are potpurri and caramel. Still, the brew is thin and sours a bit at the end.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
O.K. if there’s nothing else available. Thin, tasteless, boring. Hardly any hops at all, thin head.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A gold amber body with a bone white head. Aroma has a sweet nectar smell. Has a honey and nectar flavor with a decent maltiness supporting it. I buy a 12 pack occasionally cuz its only $9 and is a quality beer to toss back on the palate while doing the trick.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Amber colour, nice white head. Very nice, malty aroma. Very malty for a lager, mild bitterness. Not overly carbonated.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I like this beer. Aroma isn’t intense but it does it’s job. Head lasts near forever in the glass. Just a real good beer that beats the hell out of sucking down a macro at the local watering hole.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12oz brown bottle. Poured copper coloured. Decent white head, lasted well. Flowery hops aroma. Good malt, slight touch of caramel. Nice hop malt balance as the bitterenss kicks in near the finish, leaving a little dryness.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Not too sweet or watery, nice for a lager. Bit sweet, and not up to ana verage craft beer. Some creamy mouthfeel and balance, crisp and dry aftertaste. Hint of floral aroma.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20
Hands down my favorite beer to drink on a regular basis. I just can seem to get past it when I’m pushing my cart through the walk-in cooler at the grocery store. I always drink this one from a pint glass to savor the aroma.

I like Sam Addams. It’s one of the better beers widely drank up here in Massachusetts.
