Nothing to rip on. Clean, decent, and light. Gets bitter as it warms. No outstanding features.

Much better than I remember - decent hoppiness - buttery - respectable malt backbone - my go-to beer at places like applebees or fridays.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2003 A great lager with a nice color and hop aroma. Full of flavor...almost too much. Goes down slightly less than smoothly but really stands out. Can't compare to most cheap and common bar beers.

An ols standby as long as its fresh. Nice hop aroma. Full bodied malt flavor with a good dose of hops throughout. Pleasantly drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2004 On tap: Very complimentary beer with a steak. Aroma-weak. Malt was happenin. Hops were Happenin. Flavor is nice. Boy how my palate has changed over the past year. This used to overpower me now it leaves me barely satisfied . Again, you can't go wrong with this beer on tap to pair with a good steak and potato. good American Macro, (lets be honest ok).

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a nice light color. Smells like a lager should, but falls a tad short in the flavor category. Tastes stronger than it is... Smooth mouthfeel, nice finish without any bitterness. I feel this beer would be better on tap... my bottle seemed to be slightly skunked which was surprising as the other beers in the sampler were OK. A good domestic beer... definitely worth the extra few dollars over anything BMC has to offer.

This beer is neat to look at, and it has a good head. But my good impression ends there. It has a taste that is like a cheap gin. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to drink it straight or mix it with tonic water and a lime slice!

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slight hop and malt aroma. Rudy to amber with a medium off white head and no lacing. Watered down hop flavor and slight bitterness.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 13, 2005 I have had this one a few more times. Much better than I remembered. Nice aroma of oranges and some light carrots. The body is nice amber. The taste has a decent bite of flowers and some orange peel. Fairly hoppy for a lager. This is a nice alternative to BMC.
