500ml can at Lotte Mart for 2$ a can. Clear amber color, soft, delicate herbal hop aroma. Some caramel like malty sweetness, and some honey like ester. Medium carbonated, medium bodied. Pretty bitter finish, with balanced malty sweetness. Very easy to drink, but the rich flavor makes me satisfied.

4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Veiled golden, almost amber color. Creamy and foamy beige 2 finger head lasting around 5 minutes. Strong lacing with dense activity.
Aromas and flavors of caramel, grains and herbal spices. Great intensity and well balanced with a sharp and sweet sensation. The smell is not inviting, being a bit stale and strange, but the taste is superb.
Dense full body with perfect carbonation. Faint and short pleasant slight bitter finish with a smoky hoppy end.
Overall : Great craft having incredible rich smooth flavors, but with a strange nose indeed.

35.5cl bottle, served in lager glass, Pours orange/golden with white froth on top. Aroma is caramel, earth and fruits. Taste is quite fruity with candy and a slight citrusy touch. Moderate sweetness on the palate, the bitter finish is very short. Light body, good carbonation. Nothing special.

En fin lagerøl, der har noter af græs og noget tørt træ af en slags. Vældig vin øl, der ikke gør nogen fortræd, men er dejlig læskende.

Bottle from The Roebuck, Leek (Titanic) Pours a clear pale amber with a fizzy off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted malts, a little orange and slight floral hops. Taste is similar of caramel, toasted malts, some bread, a little orange and subtle floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, toasted malt, floral hop bitterness in the finish. An all round decent Vienna Lager. Sweet caramel and toasted malts balanced with some citrus and subtle floral hops. Enjoyable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle acquired at some point by commonshawn. Feels kind of like I’m in an airport bar. Looks very filtered and mass produced. Amber, burnt Sierra type color. Aroma has a bit of hop to it but is mostly an afterthought. Taste is actually a little better than I remember. Malts blend well with some hops. More sweetness than bitterness. Some caramel and a hint of roasted nuts. Ends with a kick of hop bitterness. I’m frustrated that they try to pass themselves off as a craft brewer but their flagship is drinkable.

12 oz. bottled 12/13/15
A: Clear pinkish gold pour with 1 finger of thick but diminishing head. Steady carbonation visible. Good looking thick lacing left.
S: Toasty bread maltiness. Slight caramel sweetness. NondeScript hops.
T: Earthy hop bite up first. Very English flavor. Toasted white or maybe sourdough bread later. Little sweetness.
M: Lively mouthfeel although doesnt look it. A little resin at the medium length finish.
O: Finally got around to reviewing this old friend. Nothing to complain about with this beer but I no longer find myself interested in it or the style. Still a good and worthwhile brew.
