2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Amber color, much like a pale ale, surprises you into being a lager. Ample flavor of hops and also plenty in the way of aroma. Although low on drinkability and balence. A very decent American macro.

Aight...this is my overal rating...some have had better if I can remember their names....and others met theri demise. This has not reached it’s demise. To me it’s plain and simple, not even complex. It has a bittersweet aroma. Bitter then sweet in order. The flavour is that of a tart raison. I grew up around raisons....more preferrably being called grapes until de-hygronized. Dehydrated. It’s not bad but compares nothing to such items as Dogfish Head Raison D Etre. Sorry guys I wanted to blast you off but it seems that you fell off. What that means is between you and I.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Une belle rousse. Agréable à boire, un premier gout faible en bouche, mais un arrière gout sympathique un peu matlé et sucrée.
Un premier gout plus fort en aurait fait une très bonne bière, mais elle reste des plus agréable à savourer.

The original micro brew. Very solid beer. Great with a steak and can always have a few.

Overall, my first pint of draught Samuel Adams was a big dissapointment. Bitter, sour and altogether way too heavy on hop bite. Not one I would enjoy again.

My first "beer epiphany" when I originally had it. Sadly, it isn't brewed to the same quality that is once was (they no longer claim to use noble hops on the bottle label). Sweet nose leads to a malty body, drying to a British hop finish. Not nearly as hoppy as it once was, but still a very respectable beer, and always a solid choice.

A very good dark lager. Very smooth and has a very malty flavor. Goes down very good with a steak meal! When first drinking it has a slight bread scent to it. Very good!

Long lasting white head. Cooper appearance. Bold malty flavor. Slightly sweet finish that lasted for a whille.
