I always seem to enjoy this one. Probably one of the best lagers that I can get in these parts. Taste has some bite. No too hoppy which is good.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Full malt body which is complemented by the mild hop finish. One of the greatest of go-to beers when you’re undecided at the liquor store or bar.

Old reliable. Michelob and SA BL both call themselves "premium" lagers -- you tell me which one is lying. This actually looks like a beer -- amber color, small and diminishing head. It actually smells like a beer -- malty, hoppy, caramel. It actually tastes like a beer -- malts, caramel, a little creamy. It actually finishes like a beer -- hoppy and bitter. No, it’s not outstanding, but it’s the definition of solid.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Not my first time tasting. Really good lager, and most people are willing to drink it. Pour is a nice deep amber, with a nice mild hoppiness in the nose. Good head and lacing on this beer. Taste is crisp. Initially is slightly hoppy/sweet , then finishes a little bitter, and well balanced with the malt. Very good.

Holds up well against newer craft beers. Floral nose, good balance of maltiness, hops and sweetness. Long semi-bitter finish. Not particularly nuanced or special, but well-made, tasty and consistent.

This is one of my favorite beers - your basic decent malt for good clean drinking fun.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Excellent flavor although a little filling and a little grainy. Aside from those couple minor setbacks it’s a satisfying lager.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Excellent lager. It could use slightly more malt aroma, but otherwise is a nearly perfect example of an east coast lager. The hops choice is superb.
