4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: Amber color, with very good head retention and lacing. Moderate carbonation.
S: Nice and hoppy.
T: Awesome full flavor with hints of smoke and nuts. Grainy backbone. Pretty hoppy compared to even great pale lagers. Flavor is from the quality 2 row and cystal malts and maybe carapils for body and head as well as great hops.
M: Full mouthfeel and body.
O: This is a full blown real beer with no thought to anything but a full flavored(malts and hops) lager. It's fully hopped and malted with crystal malts for a nice amber color. This is a man's beer and might not be a session type lager because it so full bodied and good. Beer the way it used to be I think.

Don’t what all the hate is for. Boston lager is light years ahead of what you can usually find on tap at an average joint. It’s flavorful and well balanced. Malty and sweet while the hops bring a nice bitterness in the finish. It’s a solid go to beer when your options are the usual suspects.

This does have a cheeky little caramel action to it. It’s not a session beet, but it’s great for when you just want a single beet.

Very disappointing. I’m a Yuengling Lager lover and figured I’d try this. Not what I was expecting.

From bottle, citrus malt molasses aroma, fruit and malt taste, a bit of mineral fizz, with astringent bitterness at the end. Surprised it is labelled a lager rather than ale. Has a few rough edges though and could be better balanced but okay-decent beer

Amber-copper colored, off white head. Aroma is of caramel and candied fruits. Taste sweet caramel, fruits, candy with low but present floral bitterness. Dry sweet finish. Medium bodied.
