Everything good and noble about American beer can be applied to Boston Lager. This darkish lager plays Grey Goose to Budweiser’s Popov.

One of my all time favorites! A huge fan of anything made by the Boston Beer Company!
This lager is so good, most of my foreign friends drink and enjoy it!
Outstanding hop aroma and flavor, one of the freshest tasting beers available. Excellentt maltiness comes through on every sip, counterbalanced extremely well by the pleasant bitterness. Creamy head that you can stand your beer cap on! An excellent world class beer!

12 oz bottle. Copper in color with a nice long lasting head. Aroma of citrus hops balanced by a sweetness of malts. When you smell it you know it is Boston Lager. Body is crisp and firm . Nicely balanced in flavor, with citrusy hops slightly dominate over malts. Just perfect but highly underrated lager.

The original! Really great session beer. Perfect with steak, burgers or anything really. Great hop flavor but not too hoppy. Well balanced, great for drinking!

Aroma - floral, citrus, slight fruitiness;
Appearance - copper, thick fluffy head, excellent lacing;
Taste - complex malt front, hint of sweetness, subtle hop notes blend in throughout the back, finish has a mild tang;
Palate - faint crispness, good body;
Overall - always a classic, so easy to overlook as an over-commercialized micro yet still solid in all areas, quite enjoyable.

One of my favorite beers. Hoppy enough to give good aroma andd flavor, but not overpowering. Pretty filling and has decent enough mouth feel to be a mass produced beer. Can’t go wrong here.

Sam Adams lager is a very good beer with a nice flavor. Slightly sweet and roasty, but also has a nice hops kick to it. The only down side is that it can be rich and is not always easy to drink too many of these if that’s what you are into.

I can’t say enough good things about this award winning brew. it’s a wonderful session brew and I love to enjoy it when I really want to experience "World Class Beer". Pours beautifully in a mug with a strong head and heavenly aromas of malt and biscuit.
It has a thick mouth feel that is very serious "REAL BEER".
I think of this brew as the Flagship of American Beer for all of those people who think Budweiser Water is the king. Grab on to one now and experience Real Brewing Craft. It won’t let you down!!

Pours a frothy white head and is deep gold to amber in color. Light, floral, fresh hop aroma with malt beneath. Delicate, fresh hop taste with a gentle maltiness that supports. The body is light medium, and the mouthfeel is creamy with soft carbonation. The finish is gentle, and beckons the drinker to take another sip.
This is a great brew for the beer aficionado and the beginner alike. Those who are used to standard American lagers (Bud, Miller, Coors, ect…) may have their heads blown off by this beer that uses all malt and has hops present in the aroma, flavor, and bitterness. The seasoned beer lover will appreciate the artistry that goes into crafting a good, clean, delicate lager with balance between malt, hops, alcohol, and carbonation. I’ve found that many microbreweries and brewpubs here in the U.S. try to include a lager of this sort in their line-up and fail miserably. This style is deceptively simple, partly because any flavor defect will stick out like a sore thumb; therefore the brewing, fermentation, and storage process (particular emphasis on the last 2) must run like a Swiss watch.

One of the best lagers Ive ever tasted. Floral presence of noble hops impresses from start to finish. Then theres a touch of citrus, which lingers in a most satisfying way. The malty taste presents itself as a creamy caramel, which adds to the beers overal excellence.
