3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled at the Third Annual Rocket City Brewfest. Brown with a tan head that settled to a ring and left light lace. Big cherry aroma with a chocolate background. The flavor was like cherry cool-aid. Light to medium body with a cherry aftertaste.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap at gingerman plano. Pours a very dark amber/almost black with a thin off white head. The aromas are cherries, roasted coffee, chocolate. The mouthfeel is watery, bitter and a little syrupy with a medium body. This wasnít a good beer at all. The cherries didnít work well with the beer. Cheers!

3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Subtle. Nice blend of the choc. & cherry Aroma is weak and metallic, but the fllava is nice, although Mott like a true bock. It is a bit watery for a bock. Try it, itís not bad at all.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sampled at the Cleveland Beer Fest. Pours a hazy brown/black with a thin beige head. Smells like a Chocolate Covered cherry, Taste is big cherry & chocolate, and a lot of sweetness. Light to Medium bodied, Does not have that Bock Malt but, Nice and sweet, light caramel Malt. For the Style....Not bad.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours brown, almost in porter territory. Aroma and flavor are dominated by cherries. chocolate is more subtle in the flavor, and not really apparent in the aroma. A nice light, clean malt sweetness contributed from the overarching bock style. For a bock- not so good. For a fruit beer- rather good (but Iíve still had better cherry chocolate beers where there is less cherry and much more chocolate; see Appalachian Chocolate Cherry Stout).

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rocket City Brew Fest 2011. Very enjoyable. It was like a malty cherry coke. Cherry was absolutely dominant on the palate but the dark chocolate and slight bitterness offset the sweetness well. Very carbonated and a moderate body. Interesting stuff.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Rocket City Brewfest. Pours dark brown with amber hues. The aroma is basically cordial cherries. Very obvious maraschino cherries and milk chocolate. The flavor is very sweet, like cough syrup. The palate is smooth and creamy, with a clean finish. Overall, a fun beer, with a straightforward flavor and pleasant feel.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A dark clear brown bock with a thin brown head. Aroma of cherry pop, chemical and cloying. In mouth, a sweet nutty malt with fake cherry extracts, not very good. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hits its target flavor profile well, but Iím not the biggest fan of the really sweet cherry thing going on. Thereís definitely something to be said for making a dessert-like bock, though, and Iíll give BBC props on a job well done.
