3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours almost like a cola in appearance, dark brown body with a thick tan head. No surprise, the aroma is cherry, chocolate and caramel. Taste is almost like mocha, with a cherry accent. Enjoyable, but I like the original Chocolate Bock better, the cherry tends to add a slightly bitter aftertaste.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Chocolate Cherry Bock pours a medium brown clear liquid with a good head of mocha foam. Nose is a hint of cherry behind a dark chocolate roasted malt goodness. On the first sip the cherry comes to the front but is backed by a solid dark chocolate presence. Itís like a liquid chocolate covered cherry. Body is mildly lively. finish is good kiersch and dark chocolate bitters.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
There is a powerful cherry smell with a bit of chocolate. The cherry almost reminds me of cherry pipe tobacco, in a good way. Itís almost black with very little light coming through. The head is light brown and lasts a bit. There is a taste of chocolate with cherries mixed together. The aftertaste lingers with cherries.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JAN 6, 2014 Bottle. First impression: "Holy crap, this is delicious!" Deep and ruby-black, this has not a lot of head. But the aroma and flavors are bountiful. Rich with brownie-like sweet chocolate, topped with some very well finessed cherry syrup. Brilliant. (#5401, 12/30/2013)

Bottle. Pours a dark reddish color with rosy highlights. Beige head. Aroma is lots of cherry notes, and some roasted malts. Flavor is also lots of cherry mixed with some sweeter chocolatey notes. Wow this is actually pretty good. Well balanced.

a nice cherry flavor, not deep, and not too sweet. fresh and ripe bright cherry flavor with a good chocolate flavor that invades and pushes out the good cherry flavor. i donít like chocolate cherry anything but this was pretty good. some bock in there but hey this is a nice holiday brew. bit of malt in there. fuller smooth body and the beer has good seperation between cherry and chocolate flavors. fun beer!

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a dark brown color with a tan head and bits of lacing. Aroma of chocolate, cherries, some vanilla, roasted malt and a lot of sweetness. Taste of cherry, chocolate, malt and a syrupy sweetness. Mild bitterness and a slightly sticky finish. Fairly full body, smooth, sticky and fruity. Decent beer but too sweet for my taste.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Cherry aroma. Dark brown color. Sips medium and tastes strongly of cherry. This brew is quite fruity and mostly cherry dominated. The chocolate taste is very mild and comes in slightly in the middle.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12 oz bottle from mix pack. Pours dark brown color with amber highlights and a very small head that has poor retention. The aroma is big and bold with cherry cough syrup. The taste is similar with lots of robust cherry in the forefront eventually giving way to a chocolate malt base. The palate is gull and smooth with lively carbonation. Finishes medium in duration with lingering mocha. Overall: Kinda Weird.
