Oakes (10941) - Savusavu, FIJI ISLANDS - MAR 5, 2012
Dull dark brown. Has a light aroma of hollow malts. Sour cherry character and vaguely chocolatey malts. Bleh...way off what I would want in a beer like this. Not much balance.

Lubiere (8335) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 28, 2011
A dark clear brown bock with a thin brown head. Aroma of cherry pop, chemical and cloying. In mouth, a sweet nutty malt with fake cherry extracts, not very good. On tap at PA Flavor, April 9th, 2011.

hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Draft… Pours very dark with flashes of crimson when help up to light and a small, creamy, mushroom-colored head. Great retention. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. Smells and tastes like the chocolate-covered maraschino cherry included in almost all boxes of assorted chocolates. Totally artificial. Not quite cloying, but working on it. Bittersweet, chocolate/cherry finish. Not bad at all, just too artificial for me.

Reddish brown pour, tan head. Aroma is a chocolate covered cherry and malty notes. Flavor is sweet, cherries, a bit too sweet but not horrible.

DocLock (6826) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 14, 2011
Draft at CAH. Pours chestnut brownish with nose of fresh cherries, dark malt, cacao. Tastes fairly sweet, with a big cherry flavor, solid patent malt, cacao, and backup hops. Overall stays sweet with the cherries tasting more authentic than Jolly Rancherish.

j12601 (5716) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 17, 2011
Pouring at the Saturday sessions of EBF. Pours a hazed brown to black with a thin beige head. Smells just like a cherry cordial from the drugstore, big cherry and chocolate, and a lot of sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy chocolate and toast. Light cherry. Nice and sweet, caramel and coffee, chewy, long smooth caramel and roast.
