Dull dark brown. Has a light aroma of hollow malts. Sour cherry character and vaguely chocolatey malts. Bleh...way off what I would want in a beer like this. Not much balance.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 hopscotch (8242) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 27, 2011
Draft… Pours very dark with flashes of crimson when help up to light and a small, creamy, mushroom-colored head. Great retention. Medium to full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lazy carbonation. Smells and tastes like the chocolate-covered maraschino cherry included in almost all boxes of assorted chocolates. Totally artificial. Not quite cloying, but working on it. Bittersweet, chocolate/cherry finish. Not bad at all, just too artificial for me.

Medium bodied, creamy chocolate and toast. Light cherry. Nice and sweet, caramel and coffee, chewy, long smooth caramel and roast.
