On tap @ Black Bottle. Pours a fairly clear reddish brown appearance with a brown head. Maraschino cherry x20, chocolate, light vanilla, tart aroma. Flavor is more subdued but still very good. Tart black cherry, caramel, cookie flavor. Very similar to Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat in terms of the cherry. Great.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This beer pours a murky deep brown color with a medium tan head that recedes gradually. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and cherry. Light to medium body with a sweet cherry cordial flavor with notes of chocolate malt as well. The finish is chocolaty with a slightly artificial cherry aftertaste. Decent overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Strong maraschino cherry and light chocolate aroma. Dark brown with moderate tan head. Sweet-lightly tart cherry and chocolate malt flavor. Really no bock characteristics at all but still a pleasant fruit beer.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at CAH. Pours chestnut brownish with nose of fresh cherries, dark malt, cacao. Tastes fairly sweet, with a big cherry flavor, solid patent malt, cacao, and backup hops. Overall stays sweet with the cherries tasting more authentic than Jolly Rancherish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Sampled from the tap at EBF. Poured a hazy dark brown with a brown head that lasted throughout the beer. Aroma was full of a very sweet maraschino cherries with a backing chocolate note to cut the sweetness slightly. Flavor was strong with maraschino cherries with the chocolate coming out in the finish. Maraschino cherry note overwhelmed the beer slightly.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Freakin Frog, apparently the only keg in the state of Nevada. Very dark brown, medium light brown head. Aroma and flavour are dark chocolate covered cherries. Fairly lighting the body but not short on flavour. Balanced by a roasty dry bitterness in the finish. Really tasty, provided you like chocolate covered cherries.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pouring at the Saturday sessions of EBF. Pours a hazed brown to black with a thin beige head. Smells just like a cherry cordial from the drugstore, big cherry and chocolate, and a lot of sweetness. Medium bodied, creamy chocolate and toast. Light cherry. Nice and sweet, caramel and coffee, chewy, long smooth caramel and roast.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Teller’s, served in a pint glass. Pours a cloudy brown with a small beige head that vanishes by the midway point. Aroma of cherry, chocolate, nuts, earth, and toasted sugar. Initial flavor of cherry, with a muddled chocolate, earth, and metallic middle, and a surprisingly nice sweet toasty malt finish. Over time it warms into a chocolate covered cherry flavor, more even. Light-medium bodied, with modest carbonation and a gritty, sweet, initially metallic mouthfeel. Odd.
