Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Average looking pour. Nose of fresh cherry filled bakery!!!! Very nice! Thick and syrupy on the palate. Deep cherry flavor, but not sweet at all. Complex, yet refreshing.

This beer was better than expected, and refreshing and tasty if nothing more. The cherry is strong but thankfully not too sweet. Other than this there are some notes of wheat and malt. This was a fun beer to try but I probably will not go out of my way for more.

Golden hazy pour with a hint of red .. very light head cherry and wheat aroma cherry moreso ..... taste of sweet cherries, tart almost like luden’s cough drops and malty wheat flavor with a light bitter hop finish .... a good brew unique taste for a wheat, however not something i’d have a whole lot of

Strong cherries on the nose. Classic cloudy wheat beer, but almost no head on the pour that doesn’t stick around for long. Medium bodied beer that sticks to the mouth. Finish leaves you thirsty for more.

from notes: Golden body with red fragrance. white head. Aroma has artificial cherry, flavour has some roasted notes and sweetness with cherry. Really sweet and artificial beer. Poor one.

A frosty dark yellow appearance...maybe light orange. Lots of soapy-looking lace. Acxtually looks really good. The smell is a smack in the face of cherry, closer to black cherry. Quite pleasant. Combination with the wheat makes a nice candy aroma. The wheat adds a dry maltiness. The taste is a SweetTart-like candy flavor. It has an unusual dry tartness that is pleasant although juuust on the border of being too sweet. Would go well with a bitter chcolate. Minor white wine flavor. It’s a bit milky, but not thick. Feels like a smoothie. This one is pretty nice overall. Nice balance; on the edge of over-sweetness. But a good summery wheat beer overall.
