COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Very easy to drink with the right amount of cherry. It gets a little over powering after 3 bottles. Fantastic head retention (due from the wheat) and great carbonation and mouth feel. Nothing really wrong with it. My first cherry...ah ah i guess you could say i ’popped this cherry’ ah ah ah! how witty a pun is that! ok i’m stopping now...no i will not go to hell because you want me to. Good beer.

Smells like cherry ice cream before tasting. Tastes like cherry slushy. Has a hit of cherry cough drop, also. The aftertaste is alright, though. I don’t think that I would drink more than one of these. I have been known to leave some in the bottle before, too, but since it is Sam, I have to be kind.

Icky. Might not be too bad if they just left it with the cherrys and didn’t add the cherry syrup. Disgusting aroma, flavour isn’t all that bad but isn’t exactly good either. The only beer my grandmother likes.

I just can’t believe that Sam Adams has the audacity to call this a beer. This is some vile shit. Ughhh. If you have any appreciation for wheat beers, lambics, or krieks don’t try this. You might puke. And then,... You’ll cry because, yes,... indeed someone actually calls this beer.

A very light and crisp wheat brew with a nasty flavor less cherry flavor.

Too much cherry taste, very dry. I couldn’t finnish the bottle.

Just a slight cherry taste, but the wheat taste is definitely there. Not exactly light to drink (usually, I figure cherry beers are going to be girly beers - not so with this one). Yummy.
