Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Pours hazy ruby into a shaker. Off-white head with medium retention. Off-wheat aromas. Flat with cloying fruit flavors from front to back..

~Pours a cloudy orange with small white head. ~An acidic sour cherry and wheat scent. ~Starts off a tart cherry flavor and finishes with a dry wheat flavor. ~Light feel, quick finish. ~An enjoyable, light, fruit beer.

Bottle. Pours a thick gold /orange with foamy head. Smells like alot of mercino cherries and grainy and sweet. Tastes very cherry, a little too much cherry taste for me, but does follow up good with some good roasted wheat flavor. Sweet aftertaste. Not bad, but not my kind of beer.

Bottle @ Tilted Kilt, Tempe. Cherry aroma on the nose. Golden bobdy with decent head. Cherries dominated the flavor over the wheat which I liked. Good fruit beer beer compared to most out there.

Smells of maraschino cherries, heavily. The taste is a light wheat with massive cherry syrup. Very overdone and artificial. But it sure satisfies a sweet tooth!

This wheat beer poured a light golden colour. Quick lasting head. Scents include marashino cherries, ???? First taste was smooth with light cherry flavour, not as prodominant as the scent. Light hopp flavour but not much more than the cherries in this one.

The smell is all cherry. I am really not big on this beer. The cherry flavor is a little too strong for me. I could only have one and I almost didn’t finish it.
