Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

12 oz bottle. Pours a golden color with a slight amber hue to it . Head is white, about one finger, and left some lacing. I don’t like fruit in my beer, there are very few exceptions. This is not one of them. I love Sam Adams, just not the Cherry Wheat.

Bottle from the summer pack. I liked the cherry flavors, but the beer was a little weak. Sure it’s a wheat base, but I expect a little more from Sam’s. It’s not bad a a party.

If this beer tasted as good as it smelled I’d be in heaven. It’s not bad but not nearly as good as I’d hoped it’d be. Definite cherry aroma. Slightly hazy copper color. Not a big head but lots of lacing that stays for a while. Tastes of cherry and wheat. Feels a bit foamy in the mouth.

I normally avoid any beers with fruits and what-not but I bought a sampler case and this was included. Similar to their Hefeweisen with some black cherry flavor. Actually not too bad. Very big black cherry aroma too. If you like fruit beers give it a try.

On tap while waiting in ATL terminal. Poured cloudy gold. Nose is very cherry, almost like Koolaid, with some light wheat. Taste is about the same. Mouth is very syrupy. This was a pretty bad beer for me.

I like this beer. Enjoy the cherry after taste. Good beer when in deep conversation drinking slow but for many hours

hazy golden. flavor is of cherries with just hints of malt or hops, too sweet to really be anything special because the other flavors are drowned

Bottle: Poured a dirty brown color with a very thin head. Strong hints of cherries and i believe cream. Taste pretty much matches the scent. Lots of cherries and a very small hint of alcohol.
