Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Not even close to my favorite fruit beer. It has a sort of stingy cherry taste. This beer falls far below my expectations for a fruit beer.

Good for a fruity beer but not close to the best Sam Adam’s or any fruit/wheat made but a good warm day beer

This isn’t beer, it’s cherry flavored soda. Both aroma and flavor are overwhelmed by artificial cherry, and it’s cloyingly sweet. A "girl’s beer," if you will, although most women with a taste in beer will go for an actual beer instead.

The Cherry Wheat is tied with the Sam Adams White Ale for my favorite beer. It’s smooth and not very filling and has the right amount of cherry flavor.

Poured a hazy amber/orange with a large bubbly head. Aroma was of very sweet cherries. Taste was strange, very carbonated, and it reminded me of cherry flavored seltzer water. Not enough wheat flavor. Overall, it’s worth a try.

Pours a cloudy orange color. Had a distinct cherry aroma and flavor. A nice refreshing change of pace.

WOW! I have tried many of the Samual Adams line up and have been impressed up until now. This one has a very strong cherry smell that at first made me think it was made of real cherry but the taste was more of like a cough syrup. This has to be an extract flavoring and not the real deal. Well I purchased a six pack so I have to find something to do with the rest... I will use them on friends to see how many faces I can get out of them while trying to choke one down.
