imdownthepub (5089), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Apr 20, 2008 Bottled, shared, Pasteurised. Weird hazed orange colour, no lasting head. Ok, the aroma is Cherryaid, thats the good bit over. This is syrupy sweet, plastic tasting, toilet cleaner. Oh dear me, the taste took ages to go away, I had to go and brush toothpaste on my tongue and gargle with listerine. Foul. Unique69crazy (119), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Apr 20, 2008 Overall, a rather disgusting brew. I will give it the high mark on aroma, it has a fantastic cherry aroma that will make any glass smell like a cherry air freshener. However, the body and taste are quite weak, with a strong fruity taste. Doesn’t taste like a brew should, the weak body can turn even the most enthusiastic drinker away. weezfour (122), Oradell, New Jersey, USA Apr 16, 2008 Although I am a big Sam Adams fan, I wasn’t too impressed with this offering. Too much cherry flavoring, not a great session beer. 6 pack stayed in my fridge for a couple months. Not terrible, just wouldn’t come running back. Codythegreat (133), Carrollton, Georgia, USA Apr 14, 2008 Pours a clear dark orange with a tall white head. It has a strong cherry aroma and it pretty much pushes all the potential hop smells out of the way. It has a very light taste and is very easy to drink. The flavour is again of cherries but I can’t really taste any hops unlike all the other SA beers. Just a little to light in the flavor though. It’s not bad, just not too present. Very interesting though; never had a fruit beer that I liked (if I remember right) I drank this out of a lager glass because all my shakers were in the dishwasher. GRM (1237), Aylmer, Quebec, Canada Apr 14, 2008 Brown bottle, 12 ounces, gift from Jean Hamilton received on March 31 2008, savoured on April 14 2008; eye: caramel with golden reflections, lightly hazy, slight effervescence, white head that falls rather rapidly leaving a carpet on top of the beer, lacing; nose: maraschino cherry, light malt; mouth: thin, maraschino cherry, light malt, return of the maraschino cherry, finale in maraschino cherry with a hint of honey, fizzy, mildly sweet, medium body, sticky texture; overall: a bit disappointing

New Jersey, USA Apr 12, 2008 From a bottle poured amber with a aroma of cherries. Flavor of fake cherries with a quick finish. Bungalo22 (326), Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA Apr 9, 2008 Pours a dark golden yellow from the bottle. Smells of cherries but in a fake way. A bit fruity on the taste but no major follow through on the aroma. I wasn’t all that impressed and wouldn’t come back to it. changeup45 (782), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 8, 2008 Updated: Sep 9, 2008 This is pretty much what I had expected. It pours a cloudy copper color with a nice foam head and quite a bit of lacing. Aroma is a strong (you guessed it) cherry flavor. Mild malts with a zesty cherry flavor. A reference to cough syrup isn’t unjustified and definitely doesn’t help it’s cause. Not the greatest mouthfeel. Refreshing enough but probably not something to drink a lot of or very often. Actually, I might not get it again, the whole cherry beer thing just isn’t for me.
