Guinness4Duff (507), Tallahassee (and Poconos, PA), Florida, USA Jan 24, 2008 A strong fruit presence in the aroma and taste as should be expected. I found it difficult to try and drink more than one of these, but if you’re into fruit flavored beers, you might not have that problem. MrRain (415), O’Fallon, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2008 ’Cherry’ Wheat ’Cherry’ sucks! All of those out there that like this beer can drink it up. Do your part to save the world from bad beer! onewhobikes (6), Missouri, USA does not count Jan 21, 2008 Updated: Feb 16, 2008My wife got me this is a sampler box at Costco. Do NOT try this with a home-grilled hamburger; cherry just doesn’t go with meat from a fire. The base wheat/yeast taste comes through. However, the no-too-heavy cherry taste grew on me, and I consider this a good desert beer. thechandler (268), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA Jan 18, 2008 Updated: Jul 18, 2008Pours a translucent amber with a nice creamy 2 finger head. Beautiful. Aroma is blissful. Floral and fruity, definite cherry aroma. Flavor is crisp and fruity. Nice citrus/wheat base, and very pleasant cherry accompaniment. Finishes very smooth. I didn’t expect to like this beer nearly as much as I do. tangentrider (144), USA Jan 16, 2008 Slightly cloudy amber beer with a small white head and distinct cherry aroma. The hop aroma is barely perceptible. Taste is like bitter, cherry soda. Finish is cherry soda. May work for a refreshing beverage on a hot day, but not one for sipping. FatguyRacer (129), Crownsville, Maryland, USA Jan 15, 2008 Updated: Mar 15, 200812 oz bottle. Pours the color of weak iced tea, but with a modest head. Smell of cherries dominate. The hop aroma barely makes it thru. Taste is of cherries too. Its light and crisp but a bit thin tasting. Again with the cherries man! Not for me. jmo32087 (28), USA Jan 15, 2008 Not one of BBC’s best. The aroma was dominated by the cherries. The taste was dominated by the cherries. It felt like i was drinking a soda and couldn’t get the cherry taste out of my mouth for the rest of the night. leeburg (147), Juneau, Alaska, USA Jan 14, 2008 Mass-produced fruit beers run the risk of offering a wimpy battle between beer and fruit-flavored corn syrup, and while this beer is certainly not the worst of them, it is venturing out onto that slippery slope.
