Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Amber color, not much head. Nice cherry aroma. I was a little disappointed with the taste though. Too sweet for my liking, tasted almost like medicine. That’s just my personal opinion though, alot of people like this beer. I’d probably give it another shot, wouldn’t buy it again though.

Poured straw color with small head. Smelled like marocino cherries and cereal. I like beer alot and why would anyone put sherry flavoring in it. This beer must be made with the womens taste in mind because a real man would not enjoy this. Hey if you wanna get laid buy some of this crap for a chick and get yourself some real beer.

From a bottle. Pours amber with a small white head. Nice cherry taste. Some say its too much like cough syrup flavored but i didn’t think so. Though it did seem to more artificially flavored more than a natural cherry flovor. Good wheat beer.

This is one of Sam Adams’s best beers. Aside from a slightly bitter aftertaste, it is my default beer. The cherries are balanced out by a nice, clean wheat taste. It pours a nice amber color with an off-white head and a cherry aroma. One of the best cherry beers.

One of my favorite beers at the current time when consumed with food. Can easily be consumed in large numbers. Has a great fruity taste and sweet. Goes well with all types of food. Tastes a little watery. Aftertaste is really good.

Bottle: Poured a amber colour with an average off-white head. Then fresh cherries in the smell and taste. Light bitterness. A very good beer of it’s type.

The aroma was awesome. Nice cherry smell to it and I had high hopes going in. It wasn’t bad...but a little too much cherry for me. Got to love Sam for putting stuff like this out.
