Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Have to say I love this beer. Dark gold color with a cherry aroma (obviously). Nice cherry taste in every sip that doesn’t overpower. Wheat aftertaste isn’t the best, but this is one of my favorite widely distributed beers.

Not a bad beer at all, but probably not something I’ll try again. It was slightly fruity, but not nearly as much as some other reviews have indicated.

This is the Yankees of beer. You either hate it or you love it. I expected a little cherry flavor, but its really like drinking a cherry with a little beer on the side. The first bottle was quite bad, but after a few, it gets a little better. I have to admit the beer has grown on me.

Not an enjoyable brew. Pours a clear dark golden color with a decent aroma of cherry and a huge white head. It tasted like pure grenadine, I couldn’t take more than a few sips. This beer came highly recommended... I was disappointed. 12 oz. bottle.

What a surprise? This one smells like cherries and wheat, and the cherry is like maraschino cherry syrup. Great! Color is hazy dark gold. Flavor is odd. A bitter wheat base with some sweet cherries, some citrus, maybe some honey. Lingering wheat and cherry syrup flavor. It’s not bad, but the base flavor is the Sam Hefe, which I feel is awful. The cherries provide a nice touch. I dont know. It’s not my favorite I guess. Whatever. I guess I have drank worse beers.

Dark golden color with an aroma mostly consisting of cherries. Has hints of a wheat ale with little carbonation and a very long lasting cherry aftertaste. Good, but not nearly the best flavored wheat I have had.
