Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

I guess this is my fruit tasting section since I’ve gone from orange, to blackberry, and now cherry. Pours to a light, white head. Has an easy taste, but the cherry is very strong. goes down smooth with no aftertaste. It is really enjoyable, but not for the more traditional beer drinker. It is more akin to drinking a cherry wine cooler.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy amber color with a 1/2" off white head. Aroma is cherry with some wheat and malt. Average palate, nothing to comment on. Taste is overwhelmingly cherry, however, more of a cherry extract than natural cherry. Some wheat notes. Came in a mixed 12 pack, glad I didn’t buy a six pack of it.

This has low ratings but I kind of like it. Cherry ness is like a jolly rancher. Kind of fun, I can only stand to have two of these at a time since the more you drink, the blander it gets. Something fun for when I’m in the mood.

By fruit beer standards this is pretty lame. Cherry smell with honey and malt. Taste is malt and fruit. Alright beer but would rather something else.

Not bad, not bad at all. Very refreshing on a muggy evening. I’m diggin’ the cherry-ness. The finish is fun. Yep, this tastes like another. Cheers!

First one out of the box is a little too bitter for me but by number 3 I start to enjoy the cherry flavor. Great beer

12oz bottle into a pint glass. A decent brew that is blatantly cherry... tart and quite sweet.

Whoa! Everything about this beer is so CHERRY. Smells like cherry and the taste of cherry is so strong that it tastes nothing like any other wheat beer. I would be disappointed if I had bought it because I like wheat beer. Anyway as I said the cherry in this beer overshadows anything else. This is not bad if you like cherry products, which I do. However you would not have many of these. I had this beer several months ago but because it had such a distinct taste I remember it well.
