royalhamartia (1), USA does not count Aug 31, 2007 This is by far the worst beer I have ever had. Ever. Please, never ever try this beer unless you’re interested in tasting what bad beer mixed with cough syrup tastes like. Sam Adams should be ashamed to put their name on this beer. beerme420 (50), Corona, California, USA Aug 28, 2007 can taste the fruits with a hint of cereal notes. aftertaste was horrible....will avoid this one in the future Icommonsewer (122), TUCSON, Arizona, USA Aug 28, 2007 not a fan of fruited beer, but this was one of the best of all fruited beers I’ve had... Sam Adams has become the very best of all mass-production American beer companies... KUDOS! CasperQuaffer (142), Casper, Wyoming, USA Aug 27, 2007 Pours like a typical wheat, with a decent froth. The smell of cherries is strong, almost overwhelming. As I am not a fan of fruit beers, this one surprised me. The fruit taste is fresh, but the beer fades behind the cherry pie. This is almost a dessert beer that might work well around the Thanksgiving holidays. SamuraiArtist (292), portland, Oregon, USA Aug 27, 2007 Bottle: Yellow/orange body, 1 finger white head. Huge aroma of sweet bing cherries and a hint of the wheat. Flavor is cherry, cherry and more cherry, sweet but not cloying and semi dry. Wheat flavor is almost completely covered up. None of the detectable wheat phenolics or hops. Not bad but one note. Nihon (239), Vernon, Connecticut, USA Aug 25, 2007 Aroma is of yeast, Italian bread and chemical cherries. Head was decent, about 1 inch. Color is medium yellow. Flavor is a little unrefined and, I don’t know, just not ’right’. Maybe the yeast strain used was not a great match? Will avoid. rugbydude05 (280), Kew Gardens, New York, USA Aug 24, 2007 This beer pours well with a golden color. The aroma is cherry, as indicated by the name, and so is the flavor. The palate I found to be harsh as well as the aftertaste but overall not a bad beer. luv2brew (177), Chesterfield, Virginia, USA Aug 24, 2007 Light dark cherry nose with no presence of wheat or hops. My wife bought a Mixed 12 pack for her party so I had to try it. And it set there for a couple of weeks before I got to it. It’s drinkable, but that’s about all I can say. Just a real syrupy cherry taste with no wheat to speak. Why can’t these beer companies stop trying with the fruit. It’s just not working.
