Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Poured an inviting orange-amber with a firm marshmellowy head. You can smell the cherries right off the bat, but the flavor is pretty understated. I got mostly the wheaty grist with the cherries providing a nice cap. I fully expected to hate this beer, but it’s actually pretty good.

Pours a dark gold color with a hint of red. Light head. The aroma reminds me of a Luden’s cherry cough drop laced with wheat. The taste confirms it. The cherry is much more of a syrup cherry than a pure cherry flavor. Not nearly as bad as I was expecting, but there are far better fruit, specifically cherry, beers.

Very refreshing after a long week of hard work. However this isnt something I would want to drink a lot of due to its residual sweetness. Good color and head retention and has a nice aroma of black cherries. Flavor is sweet and wheaty with a second kick of cherries in the finish. Nice and smooth.

AHHHHH LOOK OUT, THE CHERRIES!!! HERE THEY COME, THE CHERRIES! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORerate. Ok, it's not that bad, still has a bad, stale hops flavor that I cant get around. The cherries dominate everything and is cloying. Smells like artificial cherry syrup, looks decent, but is clear and fizzy.

Bottled. Dark golden. Cherries and bitteralmond in both aroma and flavour. Sweet. Not my cup of beer...

Cherry, aroma, cherry flavor. Artifical and not much of a beer at all.

Bottle poured a lightly hazy golden amber with a large lasting white head. Aromas of cherry hard candy and wheat. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavor was watery, light cherry and wheat with a crisp sweet finish.
