Nice aroma, very fruity and malty. Flavor reminded me of a cherry pie. I could taste the cherries from the first sip, picked up a honey and cherry flavor toward the middle. As the beer warmed the cherries became more apparent.
Narnad (119), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Oct 13, 2008 Very strong cherry aroma hits your nose once its poured. Pours a golden orange with a great dense white head. The cherry smells almost exactly like Luden’s cough drops, sweet and tart. Flavor is cherry up front and then it moves into a light wheat flavor but the two flavors mix together taste very close to a cookie. Not my cup of tea but I do agree with other raters, this cherry would be awesome in a chocolate stout or a stout period. everettvh (34), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Oct 10, 2008 Bottle. A beautiful pour, clear gold with orange cast. Slight rose pink in the head. Best lacing I’ve seen in a while. Definite cherry aroma with malty wheat. Flavor was disappointing though -- some cherry with a sour, skunky taste. Bad bottle? Gez (44), Georgia, USA Oct 9, 2008 Pours a light golden color. with an extremely think beige head. Has a very strong, almost overpowering cherry aroma. Has a very wheat flavor with milder hints of cherry. Smooth and bubbly. blipp (826), Grand Island, New York, USA Oct 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours orangey gold with a white head. The aroma is sweet maraschino cherries, very nice. Flavor wise it is a bit more bland. Sweet an inoffensive, but nothing worth trying twice. fluffy (65), Alabama, USA Oct 7, 2008 i gotta say im not much for fruity beers. but ill be damned if this stuff isnt tasty. the yeasty malty flavor of a wheat beer combined with a very authentic tangy flavor of cherries. its a guilty pleasure for those too manly to drink fruit beers.
