Commercial Description:
Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® follows the centuries old American tradition of brewing beer with native ingredients, in this case Michigan cherries as well as a touch of honey. The sweet fruitiness of the cherries is balanced against the crisp, cereal note from the malted wheat and the subtle citrus flavor from the Noble hops. The end result is a sweet, refreshing beer that is light on the palate but long on complexity. Introduced in 1995 as a summer seasonal brew, Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat® developed a large enough following to be introduced as a year round style. Its distinct cherry character has made it one of the most unique and well liked styles of Samuel Adams® beer ever. Cherries are added at two different points during the brewing process. Once during the mash and again during finishing.

Drank this on tap in the Hotlanta Airport. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed it. Very strong cherry flavor and buttery palate.

Great flavor, does not have that bitter taste most beers and ales have. The aroma is unique and pleasent. Taste is a mixture of wheat/cherry (hents the name "cherry wheat"). Very good on any ocation. Would buy again.

This beer isn’t for everyone, but for me, who happens to love cherries, this is a very tasty beer indeed. I really enjoy the sweet/sour cherry aroma and flavor of this beer, but to many beer drinkers, this beer is too sweet, and tastes more like a soda, than a beer. This is ok with me, but I can understand why some are not too crazy about this one. Cherry Wheat pours to a slightly hazy, golden color, with a nice, white head, and a good carbonation. The nose on this beer is very nice, with aroma of sweet cherry, and some light wheat malt aroma. The palate delivers some tart, thirst quenching wheat malt flavor, paired with some nice sweet/sour cherry flavor. This beer finishes with more wheat flavor up front, then ends with a nice, sweet cherry flavor that linger. This might be a "chick" beer, but on a hot day? I pound this one with impunity, and it is a great beer to match up with a slice of cherry pie, and vanilla ice cream.

Hazy yellow colour, lasting white head. Sweet aroma! Delicious flavour, watery & slightly carbonated palate. It is a bit more like a soda than a beer but I like it!
