Strong sweet cherry aroma. Dry, wheat taste with cherry finish. First time I tried this beer about 8 years ago I thought it was the worst beer I’ve ever tasted. Now I kind of like it and will buy it every so often. Can’t drink a lot of them but one or two is very good.

Oct 5, 2008 Updated: Oct 6, 2008Bottle. The cherry wheat combination didn’t work for me. The cherry isn’t subtle, and I like the fact that it’s more of a tart than sweet cherry flavor, but it just sort of clashed with the wheat, producing a heavy, almost chalky taste.

Oct 2, 2008 Wow! if you thought you might be in the mood for cherry’s you found the right beer. Very light with medium carbonation, very strong sweet cherry to start with a semi bitter sour cherry finish followed by some mild hops to round it out. One of the more unique things from this company, good from time to time but I can’t think of pairing any food with it and really wouldn’t drink more than one in a week.

Sep 30, 2008 Good beer, highly drinkable. Prominent cherry taste. Didn’t rate it at the time of drinking, but it’s hard to forget a brew like this. I doubt I’d drink more than 2 of these in one sitting.

Sep 27, 2008 2008-09-24. Crisp yellow body with a smallish white head. Big sweet artificial seeming cherry aroma, underlying grains. (5+) Flavour is likewise dominated by sweet cherry with light bitterness and wheat/grains below. Average plus palate is more than I would have expected. Sep 27, 2008 A very good beer, great aftertaste, and just a hint of cherries. Had to try this beer after hearing that is was good by other people.
