BEERGUY007 (169), Scotia, New York, USA Dec 22, 2007 I loved it. It’s one to enjoy once in a while, not a bunch at once. Golden color with a white head that disappears. Smells of cherries and has a great cherry taste. here’s what I have to say..cherry wheat, what a treat!
EnnuiDivine (10), New Jersey, USA Aug 18, 2008 Works better in concept than in execution. Cherry Wheat is a light, summery beer with an almost overpowering cherry taste. A smooth palate turns to sickly sweetness if the beer is just warmer than chilled. pik5el (34), Pasadena, Maryland, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottled. Very strong cherry up front, both in the nose and mouth. Not my cup of brew. Really not very fond of this. kiefdog (390), Tampa, Florida, USA Aug 17, 2008 On draught at Sunset Bar and Grille (Boston, MA). Pours a clear dark golden with one finger white head. Aroma is decidedly cherry with notes of grain and bread, some yeast. Flavor is also strongly cherry with wheat notes and some spice. Generally light body with a slightly sweet finish. Refreshing and interesting ale. TungstenGT (10), Birmingham, Alabama, USA Aug 17, 2008 Definitely can taste the cherry in this beer. The flavor was not to my liking. A little too sweet for a beer in my opinion. FlssmrBrewAlum (194), South Chicago Suburbs, Illinois, USA Aug 17, 2008 12 oz. bottle courtesy of another friend at a beer tasting. Pours a nice muted hazy amberish color with a decent white head. Aroma is largely cherries up front. Tast is similar, more muted sour cherries (Better than a sticky sweet mess) with some nice wheaty malt compliments. Finishes smooth and clean. I like the fact that this is not overly sweet and really hits the sourness head on.
