2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours hazy orange with a thin head. The aroma is wheaty and lemony, a tad soapy. Similar flavor with a bit more of a spice presence. Still a hint of soap (not from my glass I can assure you). Not that bad.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
This comes as part of the Winter pack, and Iím not sure why. To me this is more a summer beer, and reminds me of a beer/Lemonade mixture I tried in Germany once.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Hmmm... I expected more. Was kindof expensive. Lots of lemon peel and citrusy flavors but kind of musty? Tasted a little nutty too with some spices thrown in at the end. Alittle grainy too. Not bad but I would rather just drink Sam summer. Not worth the premium price for so much more u could get

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
I bought a Sam Adams Winter Sampler, and there were two bottles of the Coastal Wheat in it. First and foremost, when I think of winter beers, I certainly donít think of a coastal wheat beer with strong hints of lemon. But nonetheless, I gave it a try. It pours a hazy orange color with a bright white head which only sticks around for a minute or two. This looks like a wheat beer. The aroma is predominately lemon and citrus, but a prior review had mentioned marshmallows, and oddly enough, that hits the nail on the head. Strange, I know, but a very good description. The beer is fairly light with a surprisingly pleasant taste. I am generally not a fan of wheat beers and I tend to think that a lot of Sam Adamsí beer taste alike, but this was very decent. It was nicely carbonated and felt good in the mouth. Nice lingering citrus taste. I probably wonít drink this much, but it would be nice in the summer with a light meal.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head quickly recedes to hug rim. Marshmallow and citrus aromas. Crisp, thin and sweet with wheaty marshmallow upfront and a lemon finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Just released here in Iowa. Pours a golden pour with white head and good lacing around my glass. Smell of wheat, citrus, mainly lemons. Flavor of wheat and lemons. A pretty decent beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a cloudy golden color with a respectable thick white head. Aroma is wheat malt and fruitiness. Taste is refreshing sweet malt, wheat nuts and mild citrus. Clean palate; little aftertaste. This is a pretty good effort, but I donít understand why Jim Koch decided to charge a $1.50 more per six than all his other beers. Itís good but not $8.29/6PK good.
