COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hazy and golden in color, this brew is a fresh twist on the popular Hefeweizen style. Eureka and Lisbon lemons, from three growing regions in California, balance out the wheat malt character, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with subtle lemon flavor. Cheers!

Pours a hazy straw color with a couple of fingers of white head that leave behind some lacing. Surprisingly faint aroma, wheat with some lemon and pepper. The flavor is a little better, crisp wheat highlighted by the light lemon. Nice and light and easy to drink but forgettable.

Bottle from the Binny’s in Orland Park, IL: This poured a lightly hazy straw/amber body with a modest size head and provided spotty lace. The aroma was bread and lemon juice. The flavor was mainly lemon. For a "fresh twist on the popular Hefeweizen style," this is really pretty blah.

Hazy gold/amber with a white foamy head. Aromas of wheat and lemon. Taste has too much lemon in it, and not enough wheat. Sweet and finishes smooth. Very drinkable, but might have been better with less lemon.

Bottle from Root Cellar. Poured hazy golden color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate wheat and sour citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sour citrus flavor with a moderate sweet & sour finish of moderate duration. Good soft drinkable beer.

Hazy golden color with a taller off-white head. Scents of sweet wheat and lemons zest. Flavors of grainy wheat and dough in the start. Some light, not quite ripe fruit. Key lime in the middle. Acidic in the finish and linger.

Bottle. Pours a cloudy orange body with white lacing. Aroma is nothing. Flavor is pretty boring, nothing but a slight lemon flavor with some funk. BORING.

Twelve ounce bottle from a grocery in Maynardville, Tn. Pours a dirty golden body with a tall offwhite head that quckly falls to a cap. Aroma of lemon zest and wheat cracker. Light medium body with crisp carbonation. Taste is yeasty, with a wheat twang and lots of lemon zest. Some wheat cracker. Overly yeasty, which hurts drinkabiltiy.

Mushroomy barley nose. Cloudy golden, no head. Flavor is mainly coriander, but a bit soapy. Stale wheat does appear in the finish. Sessionable, crisp, and refreshing. Decent value.

Hazy golden body with a nice white head that leaves thin lacing. Lemon, wheat, and yeast dominate the aroma. High carbonation, yet smooth and easy to drink. Big lemon on the flavor. Starts sweet like lemonade and finishes borderline puckering. A nice addition to the Samuel Adams collection.

12oz brown bottle obtained at Hannaford in Derry. Pours a murky golden yellow body with nearly an inch of off-white head that dissipates somewhat quickly. Smells very lemony and pithy, with just a hint of vanilla. Tastes rather lemony too, with pith and zest joining juice in the flavor. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Relatively drinkable. Not bad, but rather one-dimensional and the lemon gets to be a little much after a while. One was more than enough for me.
