Hazy and golden in color, this brew is a fresh twist on the popular Hefeweizen style. Eureka and Lisbon lemons, from three growing regions in California, balance out the wheat malt character, resulting in a crisp and refreshing wheat ale with subtle lemon flavor. Cheers!

Absolutely amazing wheat ale. Pours a hazy golden hue into the glass with a white head. Aromas of yeast, citrus, and malt on the nose. The lemon character is noticed in the taste but by no means overpowering. Wow what a refreshing brew. Finishes crisp and clean with some yeast taste lingering. Great beer and I will definitely buy this one again. Worth your time to try this brew.

I usually don’t like wheat beers, but this is excellent. Crisp and refreshing with a taste that lightly lingers in your mouth this might be one of my favorite new beers. I hope this brew is around for a long time.

I had this at home. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Taste wheat and citrus. I thought this was pretty good. I would definitely drink this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Out of the bottle into a sensory glass, it pours golden color, and hazy as it is a wheat beer. It has a good frothy head that dissipates fast. A light taste with strong lemon, moreso than a Sam Summer. This beer has average carbonation and an abrupt, bitter finish. Very good, and I will make this my go to beer in the summer.

I liked this beer, and have to say it is much better to me than a lot of the new "wheat" beers that have been showing up. I think it makes a better Spring/Summer beer, but I enjoy it. If you are into wheat beers, you should like this. Nice citrusy taste.

slight, very weak aroma; mild flavor, like diluted wheat beer mixed with Sprite, but more than the sum of its parts; more refreshing than a Svitle at 5.3% abv, and interesting for its variation on existing themes

The Moment: a good day with the boys (Will, Michael, Joey) done... Glassware: Ayinger Willibecker... Appearance: reasonably light, straw yellow body with a head that flattens quickly but remains consistent throughout drinking... Aroma: fresh lemon zest with an underpining of hops that suggests a complexity uncommon to wheats.... Palate: teeth-tingling activity; medium-bodied finish; smooth and easy-drinking... Taste: light, fresh punch of watered wheat with a lemony hop indicative of the West; some other fruity esters are present to spruce the taste... Overall: the label says it all--lemony indeed! Like the Cranberry Lambic, the fruity aspect is fully front and center--this could easily be a sessions beer that rewards with flavor...

This pale wheat ale pours a light golden yellow and has the delicate taste of wheat and lemons. A great summer beer as it drinks lightly and tastes great. Another great beer from Sam Adams.

Has a nice subtle lemon aroma. Has a creamy taste yet has that lemon zing to round it out. Very refreshing. Has soft milky amber color.Dry with very little after taste. I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Best served cold on a hot summer day. I’ll be looking for this one again.
