2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled sample. Hazy orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of orange, malted wheat, vanilla, and a bit of coriander. Sweet and a bit heavy on the mouth, with more wheat, sweet citrus, plum, and white pepper. The heft of the wheat and the sweetness of the citrus made for a bit of an oppressive feeling on the palate. Not really refreshing in the way that witbiers typically are. Underwhelming overall.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite, 4/19/14
Aroma: Wheat, spice/coriander, orange zest
Appearance: Hazy orange pour, white head, fizzy, scattered lace
Flavor: Taste is wheat and spice, light fruit/orange zest, clean, mid-bitter finish
Palate: Body is medium, with a lively carbonation, and a mid-dry finish
This is a pretty solid example of the style. The nose is only okay, but the flavor is slightly better. Maybe a little too fizzy. Not bad overall though, drinkable.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Appearance holds a cloudy yellow orange color supporting a dissipating head. Smell of the citrus, wheat, mild malt, hop and spice. Taste follows the aroma having a citrus spiciness to it. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Seem to make for a nice seasonal session.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is metallic and yeasty with malt fruit and spice. The appearance is hazy gold with a large head. The taste is like the aroma but not as metallic. The palate is smooth. Overall very drinkable and bordering on very good but just a tad junky.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light yellow in color. Aroma of coriander and orange peel. Taste is the same. A nice refreshing summeresk beer meant to drink in the winter.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Poured a cloudy yellow color with aromas of orange peel, wheat and coriander. Flavors matched the aromas, it seems like the majority of Sam Adams wit beers are all the same.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
In a bottle. The aroma was almost overwhelming lemon with a very sweet aftertaste. Ok but not great for a white ale.
