Crisp & lively, the hazy smoothness of this unfiltered White Ale is roused by the crackling of spring spices. From a hint of sweetness from orange peel & plum to the peppery bite of fresh ground coriander, the subtle blend of spices creates just the right refreshing kick to signal that spring is on its way. Cheers!

Tap at the colonial. Aroma spice and spring. Pour a haze orange with a lite head. Taste a mix of spice and crisp wheat. Finish is a wash of things to come. Spring I hope.

Sampled on 2/11/2016. This witbier pours a light orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, touch of bready and something floral. A light to medium bodied witbier. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are citrusy and floral. Decent carbonation. Some bread, some spices, some sweetness, perhaps a hint of vanilla. Easy drinking, but perhaps a tad too sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle. Light aromas of grain for the malt, flowers and dough for the hops and yeast, with hints of citrus peel and coriander in the background. Head is average sized, frothy, white with good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy yellow. Flavor starts lightly sweet and acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and bitter. Palate is medium, watery with a lively finish. A pretty good Witbier that rich enough for a cold night.

Cloudy hazy golden color. Foamy white 2 finger head lasting around 5 minutes. Good legs and some powerful activity. Aromas and taste of citrus, fruits, clove, floral and herbal spices, slightly grainy. Powerful flavors of orange, too much in fact. Rich sweet taste with a slightly vinous feel. Creamy medium body with prickly carbonation. Well intensified finish ending with a pleasant smoky coriander and clove like spicy bitter mouth coat. Overall : Acceptable freshness and interesting craft. Very flavorful, but unbalanced, having overwhelming citrus. Could easily be called an orange beer, making this a bit hard to drink while eating for a white beer.

Wheat, straw, citrus zest, and some horse blanket in the aroma. Taste is very wheat and orange dominant with coriander to round it out. The yeast finishes with some more citrus zest.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a hazed orange with a small, quickly dissipating white head. Mild lacing. Aroma of citrus and orange peel. Flavor is dominated by coriander and orange beer. Mild spiciness and yeast notes. Light bodied with above average carbonation. Finishes with light spiciness.

Bottle. Mellow beer, tastes like a wit but with different spices. No bite to it, hops or otherwise. Feels like it has a coating on it which dampens the flavor. Not strong enough to be warming. Admittedly, I don’t much like winter spiced beers in general.
