COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp & lively, the hazy smoothness of this unfiltered White Ale is roused by the crackling of spring spices. From a hint of sweetness from orange peel & plum to the peppery bite of fresh ground coriander, the subtle blend of spices creates just the right refreshing kick to signal that spring is on its way. Cheers!

Sam Adams Cold Snap Very hazy orange pour in an awesome glass. Check out that glass. Weak scent overpowered be the scent of chicken wings. What an odd beer. Very not beer like. Lots os odd spices. Reminds me of a hard cider. Or maybe a mulled wine. Very unique. Very drinkable. Love the aftertaste. Wasn’t expecting much but really like this.

Bottle: Poured a orange yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is wheat and coriander spice. Taste is a strong fresh citrus orange, wheat and nice peppery spice finish.

Serving: Bottle. Hazy dark gold pour. Slightly citrusy nose with a hint of wheat. Very wit like flavor wise. A little flabby on the tongue. I really don’t dig Wits as a winter brew. While not bad, it isn’t remarkable either.

Tap@Bishops Arms, Savoy, Malmo - golden coloured pour with firm white head. Sweet wheaty and malty aroma and taste, doughy yeast, floral and herbal nuances going on, some lemon/orange citrus fruit on the palate.

Ugh stop with the Blue Moon take offs. Sam can make a good craft but this is not even close. Just a money maker.

Hazy straw color nice white head. Musty nose. A bit cloying malt profile. Crisp but the malt muddies this.

Bottle at Vagabund Brauerei. Hazy golden colored with a small white head. Fruity aroma of citrus peel with notes of hops. Sweet and fruity flavor of caramel and orange peel. Sweet finish.

12 ounce bottle, best before April 2014. A friend gave me a bottle recently, so I wasn’t able to try it when it was fresher. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a cloudy gold color with a half inch white head. Heaed retention is decent enough, and there isn’t much lacing. The brew smells like orange peel, coriander, wheat/bready malt, and a bit of bubblegum. It tastes like orange peel, wheat/bready malt, coriander, and a sweet spiciness in general. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it’s smooth and has low/moderate carbonation. I think it’s an OK brew overall. I wouldn’t turn one down, but I wouldn’t make a point to seek it out either. With that being said, I would like to try a fresher bottle in the future.

Pours ordinary mid yellow with some head. A bit of pepper and light on the wit. A decent serviceable beer.

Opaque yellow/orange with minimal head. Very mild aroma consisting of yeast, citrus, and grain. Very smooth and refreshing. Definitely best served cold as a summer ale. The taste is akin to a cross between a lager and wheat, containing slightly sweet bubblegum, citrus, with little carbonation.
