COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Crisp & lively, the hazy smoothness of this unfiltered White Ale is roused by the crackling of spring spices. From a hint of sweetness from orange peel & plum to the peppery bite of fresh ground coriander, the subtle blend of spices creates just the right refreshing kick to signal that spring is on its way. Cheers!

Tastes like a better Blue Moon. I added a shot of Contreau and it was perfect. Almost a shandy... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle left over from a mix pack, quite a tasty little bugger. I’d take this any day over a macro.

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some orange juice, touch of spice, slight lemon as well. Taste was a mix of lemon, orange, fruit into some grain, vanilla, some biscuit, finishing sweet, slight spice.

Bottle. Very cheap at Dinkytown - around .50 cents a bottle. Pours hazy gold with medium head. Nose is plum, corriander and a bit of citrus peel - strong spice/fruit aroma. Flavor only has a light touch of fruit and spice, good textured wheat and doughy wheat beer yeast. Finish is just slightly sweet. Gotta say - spring is not the best season for seasonals - Maibocks are great, but beyond that there’s not much interesting. This is an ok transitional beer.

Nice head. Wish this was a year rounder. Tastes great but a little filling. Tough to have more than a couple after/during a meal

Bottle. Granola colored (says my daughter) cloudy enough with white head and lace. First thing that strikes me is the sort of plummy hint to the aroma. They’re saying, We’re doing this slightly different, making it our own, so to speak. Problem is it’s gross. It has a really plummy aroma and plummy sour-sweetness that cloys. How can they fuck this up? Oh yeah, plums. If this tasted exactly like Hoegaarden I would buy a case of it because it’s reasonably priced and I hate A-B/Inbev. But it’s gross.

Cloudy orange with a foamy head. Lots of citrus, pepper, and light honey. Sounds better than it tastes though.

Great refreshing and drinkable beer. Nice aroma of coriander and other spices. Worth to try.

Appearance: typical good witbier, with a hazy light orange and yellow body, short creamy white head, decent lacing. Aroma: good wit aroma, with coriander and citrus, but with a somehow warmer spice addition as well, and maybe some muddled dark fruit. Taste: citrus, coriander, light vanilla and banana, a bit of cracked pepper and wheat toast, then under it all a nice note of plum, just enough to warm the flavors a bit. Finish: medium length, slightly spicy and wheaty; palate was slightly more full than usual for the style. Notes: Really liked this. Started as a typical wit, although well-done enough. The subtle addition from the plums (and maybe a few more winter spices) didn’t change this up too much or make it gross, but they DID make it feel slightly a-typical and like it truly was the just-before-spring wit it professed to be. Bottle from Village Beer & Fine Wine in Rockville.

Poured a cloudy, golden color with a thin white head. I tasted a lot of vanilla in this beer. OK, but not the best Sam Adams I’ve had.
