Crisp & lively, the hazy smoothness of this unfiltered White Ale is roused by the crackling of spring spices. From a hint of sweetness from orange peel & plum to the peppery bite of fresh ground coriander, the subtle blend of spices creates just the right refreshing kick to signal that spring is on its way. Cheers!

Pours a gummy apricot with a filmy head. Aroma is there and nothing spectacular: some hay/cereal malt, light floral/citrus hops, doughy yeast, and apricot. Taste bends to sour. Palate is watery and bland. Not a fan. Not a fan of Sam Adams. Won’t buy again. Wouldn’t drink again.

aroma- coriande, maybe clove, more than citrus. taste - a soft fruity that makes me thing banana, less spice. altogether not unpleasant, but nothing special, much like Blue Moon.

Nice one from Sam Adams. Hazy yellow/orange pour. Has a zesty aroma of oranges and lemon. Some foam and minor spotty lacing. A nice American brewing of a Belgian Witbier. Zest, wheat, straw, orange, lemon, and an earthy funkiness.

From Notes: Not a big fan... this is really fruity. Not even in a good way. I can drink it, but I don’t want to...

UPDATED: APR 27, 2015 Cloudy yellow body huge bubbly head.. Unfortunately heavy bodied. Subtle peach on the nose, wheat malt, coriander and orange zest. Not sessionable. Would’ve been great in a 250ml portion. Draft at McThirstys Pint.

Bottled sample from mlcc. Pours hazy cloudy color. Super smooth. Coriander notes. Liked it a lot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yeast, bread, and coriander nose, in that order. Cloudy amber, medium head, little retention. Yeast and beans, lemon and coriander at midpalate. Faint banana finish. Light body, fizzy. I had hoped for so much more, but it’s still somewhat enjoyable.

Bottle left over from a mix pack, quite a tasty little bugger. I’d take this any day over a macro.

Pour on tap at Old Chicago, slightly hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of bread, biscuit, some orange juice, touch of spice, slight lemon as well. Taste was a mix of lemon, orange, fruit into some grain, vanilla, some biscuit, finishing sweet, slight spice.

Bottle. Very cheap at Dinkytown - around .50 cents a bottle. Pours hazy gold with medium head. Nose is plum, corriander and a bit of citrus peel - strong spice/fruit aroma. Flavor only has a light touch of fruit and spice, good textured wheat and doughy wheat beer yeast. Finish is just slightly sweet. Gotta say - spring is not the best season for seasonals - Maibocks are great, but beyond that there’s not much interesting. This is an ok transitional beer.
