First swallow is Okay, especially spicy along the outer edges of the tongue, but it then fades quickly into a sudden and dry finish that leaves a not-so-pleasant targeted bitterness of a spice note that is like an unpleasant medicine.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Village Wine & Spirits. Light wheat nose, some citrus, bit of spice, and a decided metallic note. Hazy amber color with a compact 1cm white head. Wheat, light spice (coriander and ginger), gentle citrus, and thin sweet finish. Thin-medium body. Mild, unassuming, and fairly refreshing.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
12 oz bottle. Cold snap is a hazy yellow beer with a decent head of white bubbles. Nose is mild floral hops and some lightly roasted malt. Taste is yeast and some light citrus. body is medium. Screams, Sam does "blue moon" which is sad that that’s my standard for mass produced witbier, but if the shoe fits.

[7134-20150307] Tap. Floral grains and lemon hints in the aroma. Murky, pale orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Bitter lemon grains flavour has a lingering aftertaste. Medium body. Good, simple. (7/3/8/3/14) 3.5+

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured a golden orange body with minimal head and lace with a decent witbier aroma of minor citric hops/spice and touches of yeast. Beer is smooth and easy to drink but too simplistic to be a great wit (more commercialized). The spice and coriander are minimal on the edges to add a little oomph to the citric flavors and it finishes light and with a crisp edge. Not a bad beer and there were touches of sweetness at times in the beer.

Crisp lemony carbonated flavor. Easy to drink. Not my favorite brew of Sam Adams. Might try again with some wings.

On tap, Guadalajara, York, PA, served in a shaker glass. Pour hazy golden-yellow, quick one finger creamy head, nice retention and foam lace covered the sides of the glass. Aroma of grass, bread. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter. Light bodied, lively carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting note of white peppercorn, coriander, wheat and lemon. Not bad.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
APPEARANCE - light, but oddly bright yellow color. Good white head that holds onto the sides of the glass all the way to the end.
NOSE - smells strongly of pretty standard pils or lager. Not much more to speak of
FLAVOR - light body and flavor as expected with a white ale.
