The aroma smells of berries and yeast, which do not mix well with this beer. It is tart and has a nice mouthfeel. It does have drinkability. delnoche (221), Germany
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Nov 21, 2009 12fl oz bottle poured into a flute glass. Rosey red color with ample pink head. Aroma is cranberries. Flavor is the same, fruity sweetness with a sour finish. Not my thing. SHIG (2020), Aviano, Italy
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Nov 21, 2009 Bottle: Poured a murky brown with a white head. The aroma is fruit and malt. Taste is sweet at first with molasses and malt; however the cranberry fruit gives it a slight bitter finish. The taste is cloyingly sweet with a nasty aftertaste. mcdav2154 (297), Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Nov 19, 2009 I think I like this beer more than most people. It pours a cloudy orange/brownish color with an off white head. Nice lacing. The smell is yeasty with fruit and spices being the most noticeable. The taste is a bit tart but not overwhelming. On the front you get sugar, citrusy fruit and on the back you get huge yeast and spices. Very creamy and low carbonated mouthfeel. Enjoyable. iamqueensblvd (191), , Iowa, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 18, 2009 Smells like a sweet thanksgiving dinner. Cranberries...spices....slight maltiness. reddish pour (almost like many barley wines) with a frothy off white head. Slight sour notes. nothing like a true lambic. might need a few of these to get a true sense of the beer. not impressed initially. foul finish on the palate. swoopjones (1878), Buffalo, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 17, 2009 Blind tasting. Oak notes in aroma, light berry, light vanilla. Oak up front followed up by beery fruit syrup. The type of fruit was tought to decipher in this being blind. little tartness & zero sourness. We were told ahead that it was labeled a fruit lambic ditmier (1053), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Nov 14, 2009 2009 Bottle - Pours a clear dk orange with a large off white head...aroma is fruity and wheaty, almost a spoiled taste...flavour is sweet and tart, artificial fruit taste, sweet malt, there is a tart twang that gets mostly overpowered by the sugar, this is a sucky beer...the only thing this has in common with lambic is that they are both wet...
